On October 15, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr. Wallapa Songprakun, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research at Payap University, led a delegation comprising executives from the College of Music, the International College, and faculty members from the McCormick Faculty of Nursing to visit Chengdu University and the School of The College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts in Sichuan Province, China. The purpose of the visit was to engage in discussions about potential academic collaborations across various fields, including the Doctoral Degree in Music (International Program) and the Bachelor’s Degree 3+1 Program in Hotel and Tourism Management (International Program).
During the visit, Payap University extended an invitation to Chengdu University to co-host the "1st International Conference on Lifespan Innovation (ICLI 2025)", scheduled for June 2025. The two universities have maintained a formal academic collaboration agreement since 2021 and have consistently nurtured a strong and productive relationship.
